Clarity Clinic offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs, providing compassionate care and support for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or struggling with mental health disorders. These therapeutic programs are designed to offer group-based treatment options, fostering a supportive environment for individuals on their journey to recovery.
A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a more intensive treatment than an IOP. Participants attend group treatment sessions for four hours a day, five days a week, allowing participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. PHP offers a higher level of support and structure than IOP. In addition to the 20-hours a week of group work that this program requires, PHP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
Clarity Clinic's Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP) involves participants attending group treatment sessions for three hours a day, three to five days a week depending on the participant's assessed needs. This allows participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. In addition to the structured 9-15 hours a week of group work that this program requires, IOP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy and optional medication management.
Both PHP and IOP programs aim to stabilize individuals in need of additional mental health support by:
Clarity Clinic's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a more comprehensive level of care compared to our IOP Program. Our PHP Program takes place from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week. Depending on the individuals situation, it is often recommended that they take a leave from school and/or work to focus primarily on their mental health treatment. Patients participate daily in a blend of group and individual therapy sessions led by our licensed therapists.
In addition to the 20-hours a week of group work that this program requires, PHP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
Your first day will include meeting your treatment team, getting acclimated to the program and what to expect from your treatment, and joining the group setting. You will also receive information on the program and details about the weekly schedule and what groups to expect. Please note, grab-and-go meals will be provided daily for you to enjoy during your group sessions.
The duration of PHP treatment varies based on the individual's assessed needs through treatment planning. This begins at intake and is assessed collaboratively throughout treatment by both the patient and their treatment team. Typically, the aim is to transition to IOP, which is regarded as a less intensive level of behavioral health care.

Clarity Clinic's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers numerous benefits for individuals navigating mental health concerns. PHP provides a structured and supportive environment where patients can engage in intensive therapy and treatment while still maintaining connections with their daily lives. With PHP, individuals receive comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs, including group therapy, individual counseling, optional medication management, and skill-building exercises.
This program offers a higher level of support than traditional outpatient therapy, allowing patients to address their mental health challenges in a therapeutic setting while still having the flexibility to return home each day. PHP also serves as a crucial step in the recovery process, helping individuals develop coping strategies, build resilience, and establish a strong foundation for long-term mental wellness.
Clarity Clinic's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a short term treatment approach with sessions lasting three hours per day from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm, three to five days per week depending on the participant's assessed needs. Patients can prioritize their mental health while still managing work, school, and daily responsibilities at home.
In addition to the structured 9-15 hours a week of group work that this program requires, IOP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offer several benefits for individuals seeking mental health support. With IOP, patients can maintain their daily routines, including work, school, and family commitments, while receiving comprehensive therapeutic care. The structured nature of IOP sessions provides a supportive environment for addressing mental health challenges, offering a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, and skill-building activities.
This program equips individuals with coping strategies, enhances their support network through group interaction, and fosters a sense of community. Additionally, IOP serves as a vital step in the recovery journey, providing a transition between more intensive treatment settings and independent living while offering ongoing support and relapse prevention strategies.
At Clarity Clinic, we understand that each individual's journey and mental health objectives are unique. Our dedicated team is committed to assisting you in selecting the treatment program that aligns best with your specific needs.
