Whether you're feeling stuck, lost, hurt, afraid, or angry, you deserve a compassionate and safe space to heal, grow, and be heard. I know it can feel uncomfortable and daunting to enter therapy or talk with someone new. I work to create a warm, non-judgmental, and trusting space to explore the feelings, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and experiences that impact your ability to live the life you want.
I help individuals acknowledge and examine how past experiences impact the ability to live authentically. My aim is to empower you to identify and utilize your strengths, to meet personal goals, find solutions, and create a life you find meaningful and satisfying.
I’m a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I enjoy working with adults throughout the lifespan from all backgrounds and identities. My specialties are general anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive related disorders. I have training in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavior therapy (I-CBT) which is an evidenced-based, effective treatment for OCD. I also have experience and enjoy working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, relationship concerns, substance use concerns, trauma, mood related disorders, and life transitions. I’m also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and utilize other modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to meet client’s needs and preferences.
No matter what you’re experiencing, you deserve to find hope. The therapeutic relationship creates the opportunity to consider possibilities. In risking discomfort and embracing vulnerability, we step in the direction of change. I’m honored and grateful to step alongside you on this wondrous and messy path that is being human.
