If You’re Feeling Stuck, You’re Not Alone.
If therapy hasn’t been enough, or you’re feeling overwhelmed trying to manage everything on your own, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where they need more support, structure, and guidance - without stepping away from their daily responsibilities. That’s exactly what Virtual Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs are designed to provide. Please note, our virtual IOP program is available to adults (18+) living in Illinois.
You are 18+ and:

PLEASE NOTE: Our virtual IOP program does not treat individuals with active substance addiction or non-stabilized eating disorders. Clarity Clinic specializes in treating mood and other mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, and offers care for individuals in recovery.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is a structured mental health program that provides several hours of support each week, all from the comfort of your home.
Think of it as a step between weekly therapy and higher levels of care, designed to give you more support without disrupting your daily life.

When weekly therapy isn’t enough, virtual IOP offers more structure, consistency, and connection, without requiring you to commute or attend in person.
If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mood-related challenges, it can feel overwhelming to manage everything on your own. This program is designed to help you stabilize, build coping skills, and move forward with more clarity and support.
What you can expect:
You’ll get the level of care you need, without stepping away from your life.
We know that starting therapy, especially virtually, can feel vulnerable. Your privacy is always a top priority.
Our virtual IOP sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms, so you can feel confident that your personal information and conversations are fully protected.

Starting a higher level of care can feel intimidating, but many people are surprised by how supportive, structured, and manageable virtual IOP actually feels.
In virtual IOP, you can expect:
You’ll log off at the end of each session with more clarity, support, and direction than weekly therapy alone can provide.
Here’s a simplified look at how your week may be structured:
Our virtual program is designed to give you more support, structure, and guidance than weekly therapy, while allowing you to stay at home and maintain your daily routine.
Here’s what your care may include:
Live, therapist-led sessions focused on building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and navigating real-life challenges.
Dedicated one-on-one time to focus on your personal goals, challenges, and progress as part of your overall care plan.
Your treatment is tailored to you, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Your plan evolves as you make progress.
A safe, non-judgmental space where you can connect with others who understand what you’re going through and feel less alone.
Virtual sessions run 4:30–7:30pm, allowing you to get the support you need while continuing work, school, or daily responsibilities.
If appropriate, you may be connected with Clarity Clinic’s psychiatry team for medication management or additional support outside of the program.
Starting a higher level of care can feel like a big step, but we’re here to make the process simple, supportive, and clear.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll guide you through each step.

Start with a simple phone call. You’ll speak with a Clarity Clinic Intake Coordinator who will:
We’ll also help you schedule your complimentary intake evaluation.

Next, you’ll complete a virtual 60–90 minute evaluation. This helps us:
Your intake evaluation is not billed, and is designed to give you clarity, not pressure.

If virtual IOP is a good fit, you’ll begin your program with a dedicated care team. You’ll receive virtual:
All within a supportive environment designed to help you move forward with confidence.
You don’t have to figure this out alone, we’ll help you every step of the way.
Yes - Virtual IOP has been shown to be just as effective as in-person programs for many individuals.
At Clarity Clinic, success isn’t defined by attendance or program completion, it’s defined by real clinical improvement.
We measure progress using validated tools like the PHQ-9 & GAD-7, which assess depression and anxiety severity over time.
Our focus is simple:
In 2025, 81% of patients in our adult IOP program showed clinically significant improvement in the symptoms that brought them to treatment, including depression, anxiety, and related mood concerns.
Improvement was measured using standardized clinical assessments, not just participation.
These outcomes place Clarity Clinic at or above commonly reported industry benchmarks, while helping patients feel more stable, supported, and prepared to move forward without hospitalization.

Many people are surprised by how effective virtual care can feel, sometimes even more comfortable than being in person.
🏠 Comfort of Home
Being in your own space can make it easier to open up and feel at ease during sessions.
⏱️ Consistency Without the Commute
No commute means better consistency, helping you stay engaged and build momentum over time.
🔄 Real-Life Application
You can immediately apply what you’re learning to real-life situations at home, work, or school.
We understand how personal and vulnerable this process can feel. That’s why we’ve designed our virtual program to offer the same level of connection, structure, and support, from the comfort and privacy of your home.
