You’ll get the level of care you need, without stepping away from your life.
Wherever you are in Illinois, you can access structured, evidence-based care from home. No commute required.

Our virtual program delivers the same level of care you'd receive in person. Distance isn't a reason to delay getting support.

Balancing treatment with work, school, or family is hard enough. Flexible scheduling means you can participate from wherever you are, as long as you have a private space and a stable internet connection.

Yes - Virtual IOP has been shown to be just as effective as in-person programs for many individuals.
At Clarity Clinic, success isn’t defined by attendance or program completion, it’s defined by real clinical improvement.
We measure progress using validated tools like the PHQ-9 & GAD-7, which assess depression and anxiety severity over time.
Our focus is simple:
In 2025, 81% of patients in our adult IOP program showed clinically significant improvement in the symptoms that brought them to treatment, including depression, anxiety, and related mood concerns.
Improvement was measured using standardized clinical assessments, not just participation.
These outcomes place Clarity Clinic at or above commonly reported industry benchmarks, while helping patients feel more stable, supported, and prepared to move forward without hospitalization.

Many people are surprised by how effective virtual care can feel, sometimes even more comfortable than being in person.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is a structured mental health program that provides several hours of therapy each week, delivered online from the comfort of your home.
It’s designed for individuals who need more support than weekly therapy, but don’t require inpatient care.
Virtual IOP is conducted through live, therapist-led video sessions that you attend from home.
You’ll participate in group therapy multiple times per week, along with individual support, all in a secure and confidential online setting.
Virtual IOP is for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm who need more structured support than weekly therapy.
It’s especially helpful for those who prefer receiving care from home or cannot attend in-person programs.
Please Note: Our virtual IOP program is available to adults (18+) living in Illinois.
Yes - Virtual IOP is proven to be an effective form of treatment for many mental health conditions.
It provides the same evidence-based therapies, structure, and clinical support as in-person programs, with added convenience and accessibility.
For many individuals, Virtual IOP is just as effective as in-person care.
Outcomes are comparable because the program includes live interaction, skill-building, and consistent clinical support, just delivered remotely.
At the start of the program, participants log into a virtual group session from a private and comfortable space. The session begins with a check-in, followed by a series of process, skill-building, mindfulness, or specialty groups throughout the evening.
All participants are asked to keep their cameras on unless on breaks. Microphones will be muted to avoid background noise being a distraction, however, participants will be ready to participate with a functioning microphone. Participants are encouraged to virtually raise their hand to participate in order to allow all members to participate.
We encourage group members to approach the virtual group space as you would an in-office visit. This includes ensuring your dress, background, and environment maintain a level of professionalism that would be expected at an in-person therapy appointment. That said, we do encourage you to be comfortable.
Breaks are built into the group schedule and eating on-screen is welcome. Due to the short nature of breaks it is recommended that any meal prep occur ahead of time to allow group members to return to the virtual group space on-time.
Other things for Virtual IOP participants to note:
