I believe that we all possess the ability to heal our wounds, regardless of how old they are or how significant they seem. I’m passionate about guiding people through the healing process, walking alongside my clients on the journey towards their goals. I meet clients where they are, never judging, and maintain a collaborative and sensitive environment for healing to take place.
My work with clients centers around reducing distress, improving quality of life, enhancing relationships, and developing coping strategies for a variety of stressors. Pulling from my work with previous clients and my personal growth and development, I’ve empowered people to do what they feared, encouraged people to turn away from harmful habits, and supported people through trauma recovery. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual or couples psychotherapy catered to the unique needs of each client and relationship.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University (FKA National Louis University). I have years of experience working with a diverse population in psychiatric and mental health settings across the Chicagoland area. Most of my training has been with severe mental illness and addiction, although my previous work focused on intimate relationships and trauma has significantly molded my current clinical specialties. Through the use of REBT, client-centered techniques, relational systems, and psycho-education, I can individualize my treatment methods to support a variety of symptoms and goals.
