Throughout my life, I have been driven by a profound fascination with psychology and a deep desire to understand the intricacies of human emotions, mental health, and behavioral patterns. My passion is to continually expand my expertise, making a positive impact on individuals' lives.
I recognize the remarkable courage required to seek therapy and acknowledge the challenges that come with this journey. My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University. As I pursue my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, I have spent the past three years working with children, adolescents, and families in diverse settings, as well as vulnerable adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also draw upon psychodynamic and Adlerian theories to inform my understanding of clients' experiences. Furthermore, I emphasize exploring identity and the complexities of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors through a multicultural lens.
While I specialize in working with autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, gender dysphoria, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma, I believe in tailoring evidence-based approaches to meet each individual's unique needs.
Ultimately, I am dedicated to creating a collaborative therapeutic environment that empowers individuals to navigate complex relationships, foster emotional resilience, and enhance their overall well-being.
