Helping my clients overcome obstacles they encounter is a particular passion of mine. We all face unique problems in our lives that we can work to resolve, no matter how big or small we perceive them to be. Through treatment, I work with clients to help them get on track to lead a more fulfilling and productive life.
It's important to understand and empathize with the challenges children, adolescents, and adults face, and this is a central aspect of my treatment. I work with patients to improve their self-esteem, relationships, and overall outlook on life. This approach has helped my previous clients achieve their goals to their highest abilities. I provide both medication management and brief psychotherapy, and my treatment plans are individualized for each patient.
This area of psychiatry is uniquely challenging due to its diversity, and I've worked with patients from a wide range of socio-economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, and even clients as young as three years old. I completed my adult psychiatry training and my child psychiatry fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center. My specialties include ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Regulation Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, First Episode Psychosis, General Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD.
