I understand how challenging it can be to seek psychiatric care, and I recognize that every individual's journey is unique. I believe mental health is an essential component of overall well-being, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treating mental health conditions. My goal is to help clients navigate their mental health with holistic and individualized treatment plans, creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every person feels heard and validated. My commitment to the mental health field began with my education at Loyola University Chicago, where I earned a degree in Neuroscience and Psychology. I then became a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapist, working with patients who have treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders. To expand my expertise, I pursued my Physician Assistant education at Johnson & Wales University and completed further psychiatric training at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. I am excited to now be returning to my home city of Chicago to continue my work. Throughout my clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with patients from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly passionate about providing care to the LGBTQIA+ community, understanding the unique challenges that accompany the process of discovering and embracing one's identity. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, disordered eating, and providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ individuals.
