Bipolar Disorder Support Group

Bipolar disorder can be a tough diagnosis to receive, and even harder to navigate. In this group you will learn not only what it means to have bipolar disorder, but also how to cope with it. We will explore coping skills, symptom management, the difference between manic and depressive episodes, and much more. We will use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to challenge negative thoughts, identify triggers, differentiate between manic versus depressive episodes, learn about mindfulness and impulse control, and gain a myriad of other useful tools to manage symptoms. This group is inclusive to all types of bipolar disorder including bipolar I and II, cyclothymic disorder, and unspecified bipolar disorder. Remember that even with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, you can still live a full life, and this group can teach you how to do just that. Group is for patients living with Bipolar I, Bipolar II, Cyclothymia, and other related mood disorders.
