I recognize that seeking help can be difficult, and that is why I am committed to meeting you right where you are on your journey; to help guide and support you. I aspire to provide a warm, compassionate, safe, and supportive environment in a non-judgemental therapeutic space. A space where you can be your authentic self, sharing your weaknesses and vulnerabilities while finding your strengths. I strive to help you overcome challenges and cultivate the healthier lifestyle you desire through self-exploration to find balance and clarity.
Empathy, guidance, and healing are at the heart of my work. As a psychotherapist, I’m here to guide you through life’s challenges and help you foster a healthier, happier lifestyle. My career started in the medical and mental health field, working in inpatient/outpatient psychiatric hospitals and a private practice setting. In my experience, I had the pleasure of treating children, teens, adults, and geriatric clients who struggle with mental health disorders, such as bipolar, schizophrenia, substance abuse, depression, or anxiety. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from Governors State University in Pre Clinical Psychology. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Governors State University, specializing in treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders across the spectrum. I believe life is a journey and each of us has our own unique path. Providing compassionate service to my clients with integrity is my mission to improve lives by instilling hope and empowering people to live in their truth.
As your therapist, I use research-based therapeutic modalities and interventions. My core foundation for treatment is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, or Integrated Therapy to help mitigate mental or behavioral health issues that affect one’s life. I specialize in treating depression, adjustment disorder, anxiety, stress, anger management, grief/loss, and addiction/substance abuse, just to name a few. The populations I enjoy working with are children, teens, adults, and geriatrics clients. During the therapeutic process, I’ll help guide you through self-discovery using talk therapy to teach new techniques and coping skills to enhance your ability to grow, develop, and evolve as a whole person (mind, body, and spirit). We will collaboratively work together to help alleviate pain, recognize patterns, find your strengths, gain self-awareness, and become aware of your feelings to prevent, minimize, or stop future stressors. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can embark on your journey toward inner peace. You’re not alone on this path. I’m here for you every step of the way.
