I believe that cultivating self-compassion is a key element in starting that chapter and will help you work to be more present moment to moment and kinder to yourself in this new chapter. Having an accurate diagnosis is imperative in developing a treatment plan that will allow you to meet your goals and see the improvements in your life that you are seeking. My passion for providing psychological testing in addition to therapy stems from this belief. It is my goal to help you better understand yourself as a whole in order to receive treatment tailored to your specific needs. Additionally, in helping you better understand yourself; I hope to empower you to start making the positive changes you would like to see in your life.
I have extensive training in psychotherapy and psychological testing with individuals across the lifespan and graduated with my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. I specialize in treating individuals of all ages diagnosed with eating disorders with a specialization in ARFID, OCD and related disorders, and anxiety disorders. I have training in inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. I also have training in neuropsychological assessment of neurodegenerative disorders. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention.
