Collaborating with my clients to identify their strengths and break down the patterns of behavior that interfere with living life as their authentic selves is at the core of my method of working with teens, families, and adults. I am honored to be a part of your journey as you work towards building new coping skills that support the life that you desire.
I view the therapeutic process as a collaboration, you are the author of your personal story, and I am your guide. My approach is empathic and non-judgmental. I have experience working in a wide variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and clinical settings. These experiences allow me to understand how mental health symptoms may present differently in different circumstances, personally and professionally.
A few of my specialties include treatment in ADHD Behavior Therapy, Adjustment Disorder, Anger Management, Eating Disorder Treatment, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, ASD, Insomnia, Mindfulness, and Mood Disorders. I’ve found that my clients benefit the most from a combination of approaches such as empathic listening and skill building. I utilize a variety of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and a humanistic approach to treat my clients.
I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach, and desire feedback from you throughout the therapeutic process. I will ensure your voice is heard and will always do my best to ensure you’re getting the mental health care that works best for you. I would consider it an honor to work with you on your journey to recovery and living life as your authentic self.
