From empowering young minds to fostering resilience in women, I am a passionate Clarity Clinic Intern dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals of all backgrounds on their mental health journeys.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University and am currently in my 3rd year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters program at DePaul University. During my studies, I have gained valuable experience working as a Project Coordinator at DePaul's Cultural Evidence Based Practice Lab, familiarizing myself with manualized CBT group therapy. I hold a Registered Behavior Technician certification and have several years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
My interests lie in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults across diverse populations. I hold a particular passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community and women. I utilize an integrative approach, tailoring my interventions to each client's unique needs. My therapeutic style prioritizes culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, feminist theory, and Internal Family Systems therapy. When working with children, I incorporate play therapy techniques to create a safe and engaging space for exploration.
My core values center on building meaningful connections with clients. I believe in meeting individuals wherever they are in their journey, fostering a judgment-free environment where authentic expression is encouraged. I view humor as a powerful tool for facilitating change and creating a sense of connection within the therapeutic process.
I look forward to supporting you on your mental health journey and hope to hear from you soon!
