I was born and raised in New Jersey. I completed my undergraduate training at Rutgers University and obtained my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. I completed my residency training in Psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine in Southwest Michigan, which was primarily focused on working in a rural area in a community hospital. My areas of expertise and strengths include mood and anxiety disorders as well as providing supportive psychotherapy. My approach involves a client-centered collaboration with my clients in a supportive and empathic manner and I place utmost importance on building a therapeutic alliance and a safe environment. I am very passionate about providing mental health care to all those in need.
