Whether you’re feeling stuck, lost, hurt, afraid, or angry, you deserve a compassionate and safe space to heal, grow, and be heard. I know it can feel uncomfortable and daunting to enter therapy or talk with someone new. I work to create a warm, non-judgmental, and trusting space to explore the feelings, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and experiences that impact your ability to live the life you want.
I help individuals acknowledge and examine how past experiences impact their ability to live authentically. I’m a Person-Centered, trauma-informed therapist, also drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic modalities. My aim is to empower you to identify and utilize your strengths, meet personal goals, find solutions, and create a life you find meaningful and satisfying.
I’m a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I enjoy working with individuals throughout their lifespan from all backgrounds and identities. I have experience in helping clients process and heal from childhood abuse and intimate partner abuse. I’m especially passionate about helping clients navigate traumatic loss. I’ve also worked with clients to address addiction, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, self-harming behaviors, low self-esteem, and phobias.
No matter what you’re experiencing, you deserve to find hope. The therapeutic relationship creates the space to consider possibilities. In risking discomfort and embracing vulnerability, we step in the direction of change. I’m honored and grateful to step alongside you on this wondrous and messy path that is being human.
