As a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional, I am committed to providing a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment for individuals seeking support and healing.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Winona State University and I am currently working toward my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. Throughout my educational journey, I delved into various theoretical frameworks and evidence-based practices, preparing me to provide comprehensive care to my clients. Before starting at Clarity, I worked as a Special Education Classroom Assistant, which gave me unique insights into forming effective habits and strategies through adversity and neurodiversity.
I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients by offering them a space to explore their feelings, motivations, and desires. My empathetic and non-judgmental stance enables me to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns without fear of criticism. I draw from a combination of CBT techniques and existential theories to tailor interventions that are well-suited to each individual's unique needs and goals.
I firmly believe in the power of collaboration between therapist and client and in fostering a shared journey towards growth and self-discovery. My ultimate aim is to empower individuals to harness their inner strengths and resources, facilitating lasting positive change in their lives. With a deep commitment to ethical practices, I strive to ensure that my clients feel heard, understood, and respected throughout their therapeutic journey.
