My practice is centered on the concept of Cura Personalis, or care for the whole person. This philosophy inspires me to consider all of who a person is, the different roles they play, their goals, values, experiences and more. It ensures I consider the things outside that person too, the settings, systems, and contexts in which they exist. My approach to counseling is rooted in openness, curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to help individuals build self-awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and author more meaningful stories for their lives. I am open to working with people of all ages and experiences with the aim of helping you explore, learn, and care for all that you are. My passion for mental health was shaped by witnessing the transformative impact of therapy on those around me. Seeing the growth, resilience, and sense of empowerment that compassionate care can cultivate, inspired me to become part of that journey for others. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and have a dual master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Sport & Human Performance, as well as am a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor.
