Mission statement

Lindsay’s passion for therapy began when introduced to the neuroscience of behavior and how this impacts each person’s quality of life. Lindsay’s first job in the field was working with adolescents in the DCFS system, which Lindsay regards as a defining moment in her career with the belief that we must all do our part to encourage each other to grow and have compassion for one another by utilizing our unique experiences and resources. Ms. Buvel believes that there are endless opportunities for growth within painful experiences and uses those opportunities to help you live a life you value. Lindsay believes the mind is a beautiful and powerful part of each human when given the care and nurturing needed. Through these experiences, she learned that every person experiences pain and that every person is deserving of a meaningful life. Ms. Buvel lives by the mantra, “figure out what you care about and then care about it.”
