Mission statement

The world can be an unaffirming, unjust place; however once we are attuned to ourselves, we are more resilient and able to advocate for the societal changes that will help us all be able to be our best selves. It is with this philosophy that Cassandra practices therapy. She believes that by helping people to make the best of their lives and increase wellness, she can help move society towards a more just and affirming state. Cassandra utilizes a strengths-based integrative approach to facilitate a warm brave space to help people reach their goals no matter what they are. She grounds her work in Inter-sectional Feminist and Queer Afrocentric theories because Cassandra believes that mental wellness comes from understanding and attending to our complete selves in the context of our relationships, environments, and societal power dynamics.
