Clarity Clinic - River North
I am so glad you are here! Taking the steps to establish support can be intimidating and scary, yet exciting and relieving. Life can hand us challenging feelings and thoughts. Whether it be from transitions, childhood pain, feeling lost, a traumatic event, not feeling yourself, or living with a persistent mental illness, I want you to know that you are not alone and you are on the right path to feeling more whole.
I bring empathy, warmth, and compassion to each session, and focus on each client’s specific needs and growth. I utilize a collaborative and inclusive approach to therapy, to ensure each client feels heard, accepted, and supported in their current challenges and goals. I want to empower you towards healing. It is important for me to share that all of you is welcome here, in the therapeutic space. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, sex positive, and racially and culturally inclusive. Whatever life has brought you, it is safe in our shared therapeutic space.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, and emotional focused therapy. I value this eclectic style to ensure I meet every client where they are at, with the life experiences that have contributed to the person they are. In other words, it is important to me to look at you as a whole person, not just symptoms, to really identify dynamics at play to ensure true growth for a greater quality of life. I have vast experience working with individuals living with a plethora of disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance use. In addition, I am passionate about supporting individuals living with self-esteem challenges, emotion regulation issues, attachment needs, and suicidality/self-harm.
I truly believe in the human ability to explore, develop insight, and change in order to live a value-driven life, with richer meaning, as an authentic individual. Life does not need to be lived painfully, even through our darkest moments. It would be an honor to get to support you, and again, I am so glad you are here.
